Job Title: Operations Intern
Reporting To: Operations Manager
Your Role/Mission:
As an Operations Intern, your primary mission will be to focus on process improvement and equipment design within the repair and production department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct time studies of repair and production activities, meticulously analyzing labor metrics to pinpoint areas ripe for efficiency improvements.
• Actively assist in the design, sourcing of components, and construction of a new valve tester, leveraging an existing prototype as the foundation.
• Develop a comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) for the valve tester and ensure all requisite components are successfully sourced.
• Participate directly in the testing and validation phases of the valve tester to confirm its intended functionality and overall reliability.
• Systematically document all findings, recommendations, and results in a structured format suitable for internal review and future reference.
To Succeed, You Will Need:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity and proficiency with CAD software, specifically Solid Edge or SolidWorks, for design-related tasks.
