About the Job: Internship Program

SiteOne Landscape Supply offers a progressive style internship program specifically designed to provide students with hands-on experience across all facets of its branch operations.

Position Overview:
Interns will rotate through various roles offered within the company’s branches, undertaking projects along the way. This program offers exposure to working alongside seasoned leadership, which helps interns learn to build customer relationships and ensure the smooth running of branch operations.

Expected Pay:
The expected pay range for this internship role is $15-$22 per hour. The actual starting pay will be influenced by factors such as location and experience, and will always meet or exceed applicable state and local minimum wage laws.

Key Responsibilities (“In This Role You Will”):
• Respond to customer questions regarding products and service issues.
• Price incoming product and material.
• Ride along with delivery drivers and assist with loading and unloading products.
• Learn about inventory spot counts and overall inventory control.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the branch and ensure work areas are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Ride along with an outside sales representative and assist in maintaining customer relationships.
• Work on projects assigned by a manager and present the final outcome to leadership.

Skills Sought (“Skills We Are Seeking”):
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.
• Knowledge/classroom experience or a strong interest in fields such as agronomics, plant sciences/horticulture, hardscape, lighting, irrigation, or agriculture.
