The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Gowan Company, located in Yuma, AZ (Headquarters) or other various Global Locations. Gowan Company is a global agriculture company that provides students an opportunity to gain real experience in a professional office setting. This role is crucial for helping students build practical workplace skills while learning how a global agriculture company operates behind the scenes, specifically by supporting projects that improve how teams stay organized, communicate, and complete their work.

• Team: Reports to Assigned Department Lead / Project DUO Program Manager
• Mission: This role supports projects that enhance how teams stay organized, communicate, and complete their work across Gowan Company.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and prepare essential meeting materials for various departments.
• Document Management: Assist with document creation, editing, formatting, and organization, alongside performing data entry and information management tasks.
• Project Participation: Participate in process mapping sessions and document departmental workflows to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Data & Reporting: Collect, organize, and analyze data to support ongoing projects and team goals, preparing presentations and progress reports.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with other DUO interns and various departments, including HR, IT, and Finance, to understand broader operations and coordinate project needs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student. Currently enrolled in University/College.
• Experience: No specific years required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, and an ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work with professionalism in an office setting, comfort in a collaborative environment, and reliability in managing multiple tasks with guidance.
• Bonus: Coursework or experience related to project management, organizational systems, or administrative support; a basic understanding of or interest in project management principles; experience with documentation or process improvement concepts.
