Job Title: Store Management Internship Program

Program Overview:
This is an 8-week paid internship program designed to expose participants to all facets of leading a multi-million-dollar retail department store. Available nationwide in major market stores, the program runs from June 8 through August 1, 2026. Interns will gain firsthand exposure to the complex and dynamic inner workings of retail operations, learning about customer service, merchandising, business analysis, visual presentation, store operations, colleague development, human resources, and asset protection. As a key player on a store leadership team, interns will learn to identify challenges, collaborate on solutions, and understand the strategies and partnerships essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities (“What You Will Do”):

Leadership Best Practices: Collaborate with the Manager of Sales & Customer Experience to gain insights into leadership best practices and receive continuous constructive feedback for growth.
Merchandising Initiatives: Shadow Managers of Operations and Visual Merchandising to plan and execute product merchandising initiatives aimed at enhancing business performance.
Cross-Functional Engagement: Engage with leaders across various business functions within the store and region.
Team Development: Learn to develop a customer-focused selling environment by coaching and developing a team of colleagues.
Store Operations Support: Learn to support and ensure smooth daily store operations through colleague training and coaching.
Merchandise Analysis: Analyze trends with business partners to select merchandise that better meets customer needs.
Retail Strategy Exploration: Dive into the analytical side of the business to explore retail strategies and understand big-picture retail concepts.
Collaborative Environment: Be part of a performance-oriented team that values collaboration and skills development.
Innovation: Take advantage of daily opportunities to innovate, test, and implement new ideas.
Project & Presentation: Demonstrate learning through a project and presentation, consulting with store leadership to propose new ideas for business growth.
Inclusive Environment: Foster an environment of acceptance and respect, strengthening relationships and ensuring authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

Qualifications (“Who You Are”):

• Currently in your junior year of a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited university.
• A cumulative 3.0 GPA minimum is preferred.
• All majors will be considered for this opportunity.
Physical Requirements: Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
