Job Description, Detailed:
This is a paid 10-week internship opportunity in retail management with CVS Health, designed for college students eager to gain real-world experience.
• Role Type: Retail Management Intern
• Duration: 10 weeks
• Pay: The typical pay range for this role is $18-$19 per hour.
• Location: Relocation assistance services are not offered for this role.

Interns will learn and grow professionally, making a mark in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities:
As an intern, you will:
• Gain hands-on experience managing a retail team.
• Work directly with customers.
• Obtain valuable insights into daily retail operations.
• Network with seasoned retail leaders.
• Gain exposure to the organization through field travel days, developmental workshops, and networking opportunities.
• Learn how to manage and motivate a store team.
• Understand staffing best practices and colleague development.
• Develop business plans.
• Work on an impactful project that addresses an opportunity or area of improvement at your specific store location.
• Take on real responsibilities in a busy, on-your-feet environment.
Work Environment and Schedule:
• This role is active and engaging, requiring you to be on your feet, walking the store, and interacting with customers and team members throughout the day.
• Candidates must be available to work 35 hours per week for the full 10-week program.
• The schedule is flexible, including days, nights, and weekends, as interns are expected to be present when customers need the company most.
Education Requirements:
• Candidates must be currently enrolled as a full or part-time student in a college or university.
• Working towards an associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Expected to receive their degree (associate or bachelor) between May 2026 and May 2027.
• Desired majors include Business Management/Administration, Hospitality, Entrepreneurship, Retail Studies, General Business, or other related studies.
Qualifications:
• Availability to work 35 hours per week for the full 10-week program on a flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends).
• 1-3 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced work environment (e.g., retail, food service, hospitality).
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience is highly desired.
• Must be interested in pursuing a career in retail store management.
