The Tone:
This is a full-time paid internship at Gowan Company, located in Yuma, AZ, with opportunities at other global locations. Gowan Company is a global agriculture company, and this role provides students with real experience in a professional office setting. You will gain practical workplace skills and learn how a global company operates behind the scenes. This internship focuses on supporting projects that enhance team organization, communication, and work efficiency across departments.

• Team: Reports to an Assigned Department Lead / Project DUO Program Manager
• Mission: Support projects that improve how teams stay organized, communicate, and complete their work.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and prepare necessary meeting materials for various teams.
• Document & Information Management: Assist with document creation, editing, formatting, organization, data entry, and filing tasks.
• Project & Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze data to support team goals and help prepare presentations and progress reports.
• Process Improvement & Tools: Participate in process mapping sessions, document workflows, and assist in updating department tools and resources.
• Cross-Departmental Engagement: Engage with other DUO interns, work with various departments, and coordinate with internal teams for project needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student. Currently enrolled in University/College.
• Experience: No specific years required for this internship role.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to learn new systems and software quickly, professional demeanor in an office setting, comfort in a collaborative environment, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize with guidance, reliable, organized, and able to follow through on assignments.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of or interest in project management principles, coursework or experience related to project management, organizational systems, or administrative support, experience with documentation, organizing information, or multi-step workflows, familiarity with process improvement concepts or administrative operations.
