The Tone:
This is a Full-Time Internship at Gowan Company, primarily based on-site in Yuma, AZ, within a global agriculture organization. The Project DUO Intern will gain real-world experience by collaborating closely with various departments in a professional office setting. This role is designed to help students build practical workplace skills through supporting day-to-day administrative tasks like scheduling and organizing documents, as well as contributing to team projects. Interns will assist with initiatives that improve how different teams stay organized, communicate effectively, and complete their work, offering a unique look into the behind-the-scenes operations of a global company.

• Team: Reports to Assigned Department Lead / Project DUO Program Manager
• Mission: To build practical workplace skills by supporting administrative tasks and projects that improve team organization, communication, and work completion across various departments.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide administrative support by managing schedules, preparing meeting materials, and organizing documents for various departments.
• Support project initiatives by documenting workflows, updating internal resources, and analyzing data to help achieve team goals.
• Manage and organize information through data entry, filing, and general document processing.
• Assist with internal communications by preparing summaries and updates for departments.
• Collaborate with various internal teams and other interns to understand broader company operations and support project needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently enrolled in university or college, with an interest in project management, organizational systems, or administrative support.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail; Clear verbal and written communication skills; Ability to learn new systems and software quickly; Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize with guidance; Professionalism and comfort in a collaborative office environment; Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of project management principles, process improvement concepts, or experience with documentation and multi-step workflows.
