Job Description: Summer Internship Program

This is a 10-week paid internship program designed to offer undergraduate and graduate students invaluable exposure and insight into professional careers within the dynamic leisure travel and cruise industry.

Program Overview:
Interns will be engaged in meaningful departmental projects, participate in professional development sessions, attend leadership speaker sessions, and engage in enrichment activities to gain a holistic view of life at Princess. A key component of the program is a capstone project, which each intern will complete and present to Princess leadership at the program’s conclusion.

Work Arrangement:
This is a hybrid opportunity, requiring interns to work onsite in Princess’s South Florida corporate offices, either in Fort Lauderdale or Doral, depending on the assigned team.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Enrollment in a four-year accredited undergraduate or in a graduate/Ph.D. program.
• Must be a rising Junior (for undergraduate applicants).
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Internship Project Details (Functional Departments for Placement):
Interns will be placed into one of several functional departments, aligning with their interests and skills:
Human Resources & Talent Acquisition: Support initiatives related to recruiting, employer branding, and employee engagement.
Finance & Strategy: Assist with business analytics, forecasting, and financial planning for a global enterprise.
Marketing & Communications: Contribute to campaign development, digital/social media strategy, and internal communications efforts.
IT & Product Innovation: Gain exposure to MedallionClass® technology, working on product development, process automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Operations & Guest Experience: Participate in projects aimed at enhancing onboard services, itinerary planning, and global operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Adaptability to handle technical tasks, projects, and cross-functional assignments efficiently.

Preferred Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a collaborative mindset.
• Prior project management or leadership experience (academic or extracurricular).
• Experience with data visualization or presentation tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau are a plus).
• A strong sense of curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
