ECS AI Integration Specialist Internship Program – Detailed Job Description

Location: Remote (Virtual)
Type: Unpaid Internship (College Credit Available)
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours/week
Duration: 16-week program

Application Deadlines:
• Spring Cohort: December 15 (Program starts in January)
• Summer Cohort: May 15 (Program starts in June)
• Fall Cohort: August 15 (Program starts in September)

The Opportunity:
This 16-week virtual internship program offers interns the chance to gain hands-on experience implementing AI technologies for real business applications. Successful interns will earn the ECS AI Integration Specialist credential, an industry-recognized certification that can significantly enhance their resume and LinkedIn profile, verifying their ability to ethically and effectively implement AI technology.

Available Positions:

1. Social Media & Content Creation Intern:
• Responsibilities include creating branded content using AI tools, designing graphics, and implementing content strategies for both ECS and client projects.

2. Community Management & Engagement Intern:
• Tasks involve managing the growing community across LinkedIn, Facebook, and email platforms. This role requires engaging with members, responding to inquiries, and supporting the Get Equipped AI Summit community initiatives.

3. Operations & Administrative Support Intern:
• This intern will support business operations, implement AI-powered efficiency tools, and help organize and streamline business processes.

4. Technology Integration Support Intern:
• Assists with the implementation of internal AI tools, creates documentation, optimizes workflows, and supports automation and process improvement initiatives.

5. Event & Summit Marketing Intern:
• Supports marketing campaigns for the “Get Equipped AI Summit” and workshops, creates promotional materials, and assists with event coordination.

6. Research & Grant Writing Intern:
• Responsibilities include researching funding opportunities, assisting with application preparation, and developing content based on industry research and trends.

• Phase 3: Excellence (Weeks 13-16): Dedicated to portfolio development, capstone projects, and final presentations, culminating in a credential ceremony.

Weekly Commitment:

• Monday Check-ins: 30-minute team meetings.
• Friday Training Sessions: 60-90 minute skill development workshops.
• Flexible Project Work: Remaining hours are completed throughout the week.
• Office Hours: Individual support available as needed.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university (all majors welcome).
• Strong interest in AI, technology, and business innovation.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
