Job Description

This is a full-time, 10-week internship program with Spectrum, facilitated in partnership with WayUp, designed for rising junior students.

Program Details:
Duration: May 27 through July 31, 2026.
Focus: Gaining real-world experience within the telecommunications industry.
Structure: The internship is split into two main components:
80% Department and Team-Focused Projects: Interns will contribute to meaningful projects within their assigned department, gaining insights into the operations of a leading connectivity company. This provides opportunities to develop new skills and enhance existing ones in a dynamic business environment.
20% Professional Development & Networking Activities: This includes participation in a Kickoff Conference (on May 27th), webinars, community service initiatives, cross-functional projects, and final presentations. Interns will also engage in networking opportunities with team members and senior leaders, and receive one-on-one mentorship to help achieve professional goals.

Internship Responsibilities (may include):
Analyzing Business Operations: Assisting in the analysis of business partners’ operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for automation of processes, functions, and systems.
Technology Assessment: Assessing available technologies to create detailed development specifications.
System Development: Assisting with identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are both cost-effective and meet user requirements.
Consultation: Consulting with management and users to accurately determine the needs and requirements of various systems.

Required Qualifications:
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Must be completing a bachelor’s degree, specifically as a rising junior student.
• Must maintain a 3.0 GPA or greater in the current program of study.
• Majoring in one of the following areas: Computer Information Systems, Accounting, Business Technology Management, Information Science, Information Technology.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program.
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity or experience with Microsoft applications, Cherwell, and SAP.
