This is an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Winter Intern in CohnReznick’s Boca Raton office.

Job Title: Tax Winter Intern
Term: January to April 2026 (Winter 2026)
Work Model: Hybrid. Team members are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

Engagement Team: You will collaborate closely with a team comprising other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
Industries Served: The firm serves a diverse range of clients across various industries, including Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (industry exposure may vary by office).
Office Environment: The Boca Raton office offers amenities, collaborative spaces, and private offices.
Performance Coach: A dedicated coach will meet with you to establish goals, provide feedback, and offer support to guide your career path.
CR Friend: A designated individual who will serve as a familiar face and a point of contact for any questions or support needed when you join the firm.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

As a Tax Winter Intern, your primary responsibility will be to become familiar with accounting and auditing procedures and to perform these procedures accurately, thoroughly, and timely in accordance with firm standards. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working on various aspects of audit engagements, such as cash management, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and general accounting services.
• Participating in resolving audit issues by obtaining necessary evidence and making inquiries to clients, while also assisting the team with daily client workflow.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have:

Education: Be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
CPA Path: Plan to complete 150 credit hours between December 2026 and September 2027 to qualify for CPA licensure.
Academic Achievement: A minimum 3.0 GPA in both your major and overall studies.
Coursework: Successful completion of at least two accounting courses prior to the start of the internship.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or on team projects.
Communication: Excellent communication skills.
Teamwork: The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Adaptability: The capacity to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Work Authorization: Proof of U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status is required to apply for an internship or entry-level role.

Preferred Qualifications (a plus):

• Prior work or internship experience.
