This is an internship opportunity for the TikTok Product – Social and Creation team, which aims to provide the best user experiences for creating, consuming, and enjoying content on TikTok. The team is seeking passionate and innovative individuals to help shape the future of social interaction and content creation on a globally recognized product with millions of active users. Interns can expect fast professional development and self-growth.

The internship program in 2025 is designed to offer students significant industry exposure and hands-on experience, allowing them to develop fundamental skills and explore potential career paths. The program includes a vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops. Interns will apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This is a 12-week program beginning in August/September 2025. Successful candidates must commit to one of the following start dates: August 11, 2025; August 25, 2025; September 8, 2025; or September 22, 2025. Candidates able to commit to these dates will be prioritized, and availability should be clearly stated in the resume. Applicants can apply to a maximum of two positions globally across TikTok and its affiliates, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis, encouraging early submission.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineering, design, and data science teams to define product requirements and deliver high-quality features.
Conduct user research and analyze data to identify user needs and opportunities for product improvement.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features based on user impact and business goals.
Monitor and analyze product performance, using data-driven insights to iterate and optimize features.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products to inform product strategy.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a graduation date between December 2025 and September 2026.
• Ability to work in the San Jose office, 40 hours a week for 12 weeks during the fall.
Experience or coursework in computer science, engineering, design, data science, or similar fields.
Exposure to working on a consumer-facing product.
Strong interest in social media, content creation, and designing user experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to build trusted relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience or projects in product management.
Experience in developing products from inception to launch.
Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.

Job Information:

Compensation: The hourly rate for this Campus Intern position in San Jose is $55.

Benefits: Interns receive day one access to health insurance, life insurance, and wellbeing benefits. They are also entitled to 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in the first half of the year, 40 hours if hired in the second half). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for a housing allowance. The company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time.
