About the Year Up United Program

Year Up United is an intensive job training program, one year or less in duration, designed to empower young adults with the essential skills and opportunities needed to launch a professional career.

Program Overview & Benefits

• In-classroom Skill Development: Acquire critical technical and professional skills.
• Internship Access: Gain real-world experience through internships with leading companies.
• Job Placement Services: Receive dedicated support for job placement via our industry-leading talent placement firm, YUPRO Placement.
• Personalized Coaching & Mentorship: Benefit from ongoing guidance and support throughout your journey.
• Educational Stipend: Participants receive a stipend, with students earning $525 per week during the internship phase.

If you receive an internship, you may have the opportunity to work at prominent organizations in the Charlotte area, such as:

Eligibility Requirements

You are eligible to apply to Year Up United if you meet the following criteria:

• A high school graduate or GED recipient.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program.
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
• Have not obtained a Bachelor’s degree.
• (You may be required to answer additional screening questions when applying.)
