The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Deloitte, located in one of our UK offices with hybrid working options. As an Elite Platinum Global Alliance Partner with Workday, Deloitte has a deep relationship and a rapidly expanding Workday Finance Practice. This role is essential for delivering innovative Workday solutions, transforming digital enterprises, and maximizing ROI for clients, while helping to develop Deloitte’s consulting practice.

• Team: Workday Financial Management Practice within the Enterprise Applications service line, part of Technology & Transformation
• Mission: Help clients with transformation strategies and further develop Deloitte’s Workday Consulting Practice.
• Tech Stack: Workday Financials, ERP, EPM, cloud computing (including storage, platforms, data)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engagement: Engage in both advisory and delivery projects, from helping clients with transformation strategies to supporting the full lifecycle of Workday delivery projects.
• Solution Design: Work with clients to develop their overall solution architecture and end-to-end processes, to be supported by Workday technology.
• Issue Resolution: Identify key client process, technology, and integration issues, then recommend effective solutions.
• Requirements Translation: Translate complex business requirements into specific system, application, or process designs covering both functional and non-functional aspects.
• Team Leadership: Plan and deliver the scope and deliverables of the team while managing stakeholders and fostering strong client relationships.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate Director level with experience in ERP, EPM, and cloud computing, along with relevant work experience in Finance technology or a related field.
• Experience: Finance transformation experience with Workday, experience designing and implementing ERP systems, and experience of at least two end-to-end Workday implementations.
• Skills: Specialist knowledge of Workday Financials; ability to take complex issues and explain them for a diverse audience; good understanding of Workday transactional data flows and data migration activities; strong problem-solving and analytical skills; clear understanding of risk in ERP delivery projects.
• Bonus: Ideally, Workday Finance, FDM, and Engagement Manager Certified; demonstrated understanding of current automation, continuous integration/deployment, and cloud-based delivery models; experience in consulting or professional services.
