What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Delivery: Contribute to live client engagements through thorough research, detailed analysis, and the preparation of high-quality decks, models, reports, and other client-ready materials.
• Information Structuring: Transform ambiguous and incomplete information into clear, structured outputs that firm leaders can directly present to clients, progressing toward leading discussions and presenting recommendations.
• Professional Development: Engage in a structured six-month development program, receiving regular coaching and personalized feedback from firm leaders, and participating in targeted learning opportunities and Consulting Capability Deep Dives.
• Business Development: Support critical business development and proposal work, gaining firsthand experience in how TGG builds, wins, and grows client relationships and accounts.
• Firm Building: Actively contribute to internal initiatives and broader firm-building work, aligning with your client responsibilities to help shape the growth and operations of The Gunter Group.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance, meaningful leadership experience, and a demonstrated record of initiative; OR military experience in an operational leadership capacity; OR an MBA (in progress or recently completed) with early-career professional or leadership experience; OR early professional experience in a corporate, technical, or functional role demonstrating high performance and independent ownership.
• Experience: A longstanding record of leadership and excellence across academic and professional pursuits, including a track record of leading teams, navigating complex environments, owning organizational outcomes, and demonstrating strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Skills: Demonstrated intellectual curiosity to quickly learn new industries, technologies, and client contexts; proactive initiative and ownership in seeking opportunities to contribute; ability to balance diverse work types including client delivery, business development, and internal initiatives; capacity to transform ambiguous information into clear, structured outputs and communicate effectively; and openness to coaching and feedback for rapid adjustment and growth.
