This position is essential for strategically managing and optimizing the purchasing function across all European operations, directly contributing to the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the company’s supply chain in the region.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive purchasing strategies specifically tailored for the European market, aligning with global company objectives and local regulatory requirements.
• Supplier Negotiation: Lead and execute negotiations with European suppliers to secure the most favorable terms, conditions, and pricing, ensuring high quality and reliable supply.
• Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives for European procurement processes, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, cost reduction, and compliance across all purchasing activities.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key European vendors and suppliers, fostering partnerships that ensure consistent material flow and mitigate supply chain risks.
• System Utilization: Efficiently utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and standard Office software to manage purchasing operations, track performance, and report on critical procurement metrics.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Professional experience relevant to purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a purchasing or supply chain role.
• Skills: C1 proficiency in a relevant European language (e.g., French or English), proficiency with Office software, proficiency with ERP software.
