Wire Transfer Lead Specialist | KeyBank

• Mission: Ensure accurate and timely processing of wire transfers to provide high service standards and mitigate risk to KeyBank and its clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Processing: Execute the processing of both incoming and outgoing wire transfers accurately and efficiently.
• Communication: Communicate with internal partners and clients to provide status updates on wire transactions.
• Issue Resolution: Partner with other wire transfer team members and business partners to manage and resolve exception items.
• Administration: Administer moderate procedures, analysis, tasks, and reporting functions for wire transfer operations.
• Documentation: Review and ensure the proper use of documentation and established procedures for moderate activities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required, with foundational knowledge in operations, banking policies, procedures, government regulations, accounting principles, loan documentation, and multiple payment delivery channels.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in an operations role is required, along with a proven ability to handle monetary processing functions independently and accurately manage high transaction volumes while meeting production goals.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and 10-Key operation with a high degree of speed and accuracy, strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment and decision-making abilities, basic leadership skills, and basic analytical, research, and problem-resolution skills.
• Bonus: A college degree is preferred, and the ability to train or assist in training new staff is a plus.
