This is a part-time internship at PKF O’Connor Davies, located in Newtown Square, PA. • Mission: Assist in providing quality tax services to the Firm’s clients by preparing and scanning tax returns

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Relations: Develop professional relationships with both clients and firm employees.
• Firm Adherence: Become familiar with and adhere to the Firm’s established policies and procedures to ensure efficient and professional team participation.
• Tax Knowledge: Demonstrate a foundational knowledge of basic technical tax requirements relevant to client engagements.
• Tax Preparation: Become proficient in the processes of scanning client documents and preparing tax returns.
• Software Usage: Develop a practical working knowledge of all microcomputer applications routinely utilized in tax service delivery.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level opportunity for students who have completed at least 75% of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
• Experience: This internship focuses on providing initial professional experience; no prior professional experience is required beyond the specified academic progress.
• Skills: Good communication skills; proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of microcomputer applications; ability to be a collaborative team player; strong customer focus; capacity to multitask effectively; commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week, including availability for weekend work when necessary; and willingness for frequent local travel to clients and other PKFOD locations.
