What You’ll Actually Do
• Relationship Building: Develop relationships with clients and employees.
• Accounting Support: Become proficient in assisting clients with routine accounting functions.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Draft financial statements under prescribed formatting.
• Engagement Participation: Prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements.
• Knowledge Development: Develop a working knowledge of microcomputer applications and demonstrate a basic understanding of accounting pronouncements and income tax.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring at least 75% completion of a bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university.
• Experience: Must demonstrate progress towards CPA exam eligibility. Candidates must be able to commit a minimum of 37.5 hours per week and be willing to travel locally to clients 80%+ of the time, with access to a car or public transportation.
• Skills: Good communication and computer skills, the ability to be a team player, customer-focused, and capable of juggling multiple tasks effectively.
