Wildlife Outside Sales Representative – Critter Control Operations
Critter Control Operations (CCO) is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Wildlife Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This pivotal role is essential for expanding our customer base and driving significant sales growth. We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion for resolving customers’ wildlife and pest problems, exceptional communication skills, and a demonstrated track record in sales.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Act as a consultative problem solver, accurately diagnosing wildlife and pest issues and confidently recommending the most effective solutions.
- Capitalize on company-provided leads while proactively building your own pipeline to consistently exceed sales targets.
- Aggressively grow new business within your assigned territory by self-generating opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and leverage strong relationships with homeowners, property managers, realtors, contractors, and sister brands to drive recurring and referral-based sales.
- Partner closely with operations and field teams to ensure a safe, smooth, and excellent customer experience from start to finish.
A Day in the Life Looks Like This:
- Spend the majority of your day in your territory, responding to company-provided leads and actively prospecting for new opportunities.
- Conduct thorough interior and exterior property inspections, which may include accessing roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and other confined spaces.
- Create, present, and close detailed proposals for wildlife removal and prevention services utilizing established proposal templates.
- Actively build on existing leads by self-generating new opportunities – remember, if one property has a pest problem, its neighbors might too!
- Follow up relentlessly with prospects to close deals, collect payments, and re-engage past prospects and customers.

What You Need to Be Successful (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be available to travel up to 10%.
- Must be available to travel to Atlanta within 30 days of the start date for training.
- A “hunter mindset” and proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a related field (e.g., pest control, roofing, construction, route-based businesses).
- Ability to work independently in the field and efficiently manage your own schedule.
- Proficiency in using various types of software and applications.
What the Work Environment Looks Like
We go where the wildlife goes! Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories.
- Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.).
- Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders safely.
- Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently.
