The Role: Wealth Management Intern
We are seeking a successful and highly motivated Wealth Management Intern. The ideal candidate is a multi-tasker at heart, possessing strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset, thriving in a fast-paced and evolving organization. You should be coachable, eager to learn, and capable of consistently performing at a high level under variable workloads. As a rapidly growing company, Hightower offers plentiful opportunities for internal growth and career development. You will report directly to the Operations Manager.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Assist with processing client requests, including profile updates.
- Support the Operations Manager with various special projects.
- Help set up new investment accounts and prepare comprehensive customer welcome packets.
- Prioritize and organize workflow, and prepare key documents for client meetings.
- Assist the Operations team with research regarding accounts, policies, and procedures.
- Manage compliance-related tasks for the Operations team.
- Complete necessary filing and diligently maintain client files.
- Review previous day’s activity to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Offer administrative and office management support to the team.
Qualifications
- Current full-time undergraduate student.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting).
What You’ll Bring (Desired Skills & Attributes)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable asking questions and communicating when help or clarification is needed.
- Familiarity with common office software: Excel, Word, and Adobe.
