Job Description:
This is a limited-duration internship (maximum ten months) in Wealth Management, located in Irvine, California. The role is non-exempt and offers an hourly base pay starting at $18, though individual pay is determined based on various factors. Total compensation may include commissions, incentives, bonuses, and other Morgan Stanley benefits.
The internship focuses on developing skills crucial for a career in global wealth management and financial services. Responsibilities include:
• Gaining industry and organizational knowledge: This is achieved through daily work assignments and interactions.
• Skill development: The intern will build business, financial, and analytical skills.
• Marketing and sales support: Providing assistance to branches and their teams.
• Market research: Conducting research to support business activities.
• Exposure to wealth management: Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the business, its products, services, and client needs.
Requirements:
• High school diploma is required; pursuit of a college degree is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong interest in global wealth management.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork abilities.
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
