Summary

SAVOR… is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Runner/Catering Set-up Team Member to join the team at Truist Arena. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with the main kitchen and concessions departments to ensure all areas are properly stocked and prepared for events. This position is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and high standards of service in a dynamic event environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inventory Management:
  • Regularly stocks and rotates inventory across all designated locations.
  • Accurately fills requisitions for various locations.
  • Enters inventory transfers into the Quest system daily.
  • Strictly adheres to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles for all inventory rotation.
  • Maintains adequate inventory levels and stock of all necessary supplies at all locations.
• Compliance and Organization:
  • Ensures strict adherence to all Health and Sanitation Laws.
  • Follows safe transfer and storage procedures for all items.
  • Maintains a consistently organized and clean storeroom environment.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Works effectively with the main kitchen and concessions teams to prepare areas for events.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience

Candidates should possess a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Alternatively, 3-6 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, will be considered.

Required Skills

• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret essential documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing).
• Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic formats. Capable of communicating and executing instructions effectively via radio.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role requires an individual who is regularly able to stand and walk for extended periods. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The typical noise level in the work environment is moderate. Please note that other duties not explicitly listed may be assigned as needed to support operations.
