• Mission: Act as a strategic advisor to clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for them.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Advisory: Assist clients in raising funds within the capital markets and provide strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
• Project Leadership: Assume significant responsibility for various phases of project and transaction execution, new business development, and overall growth of the firm.
• Transaction Guidance: Work closely with clients on financing transactions, leading due diligence and drafting sessions, and preparing them for equity or debt offerings.
• M&A and Special Situations: Collaborate with clients, senior team members, and outside professional advisors on mergers, acquisitions, and special situation transactions.
• Documentation and Oversight: Draft situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, investor and management presentations, and oversee work performed by analysts and associates.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance or a closely related area of Business Administration, with comprehensive knowledge of the corporate banking business, pertinent regulations, and lending/credit approval processes.
• Experience: 6-10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically within Banking, including working with large corporate clients and various capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance, and securities products.
• Skills: Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to obtain Series 79 and 63 within 90 days of joining.
• Bonus: MBA or Master’s Degree in Business is preferred.
