Job Description:
Central Baldwin Veterinary Hospital is offering externship opportunities for veterinary students in their final clinical year. The externship duration typically ranges from two to eight weeks, depending on the student’s and hospital’s schedules.
Hospital Features:
• 4 oversized exam rooms equipped with Technidyne lift table w/scale
• Pharmacy adjacent to exam rooms equipped with complete IDEXX suite of equipment
• L-shaped treatment area with 2 wet tub tables equipped for dentals and digital dental x-rays
• Surgery suite and treatment area as well as the digital radiography room are equipped with in-wall oxygen
• GE Logic Ultrasound
• Summus Laser therapy
• Tonopen
• Digital radiography
• Digital dental x-rays
• Avimark software

The hospital is located in Robertsdale, Alabama, which is centrally located in Baldwin County. Baldwin County is the fastest-growing county in the state and offers excellent schools and beautiful Gulf Coast beaches. Robertsdale’s central location provides easy access to Pensacola, Florida, Mobile, Alabama, and Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Additional Information:
Veterinary students in their clinical year are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend.
