Job Description:
This is an externship opportunity with Oaklandon Family Vet, supported by Heartland Veterinary Partners’ Externship Program. The program aims to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to make them “practice ready” upon graduation.
Key Details:
• Externship Length: Typically 2 weeks, but flexible and can support preceptorship documentation.
• Financial Support: Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School.
• Must be able to provide student PLIT.
