Venue Sales & Operations Manager | Hightop Hospitality

The Tone:
This is a full-time, onsite, hands-on role at Hightop Hospitality, located across multiple event centers in the Twin Cities. Hightop Hospitality is a growing collection of restaurants, catering, and event venue brands committed to premium food, exceptional service, and genuine hospitality. This critical role is responsible for all venue sales activity and day-to-day event execution, directly contributing to the company’s growth by ensuring an exceptional client experience and consistently meeting venue booking goals.

• Pay: $55000–$60000 yearly
• Team: Reports to the Venue Director
• Mission: This role owns the entire event lifecycle, from securing venue bookings to flawlessly executing events, ensuring an exceptional client experience and consistently meeting revenue goals for multiple event centers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales & Booking Performance: Achieve or exceed monthly and annual venue booking goals by actively selling venue offerings, catering services, and event enhancements.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales inquiries, venue tours, event planning, and onsite execution, ensuring a seamless client journey from start to finish.
• Event Operations & Logistics: Oversee comprehensive event planning, coordination, and day-to-day venue operations, including managing timelines, layouts, and all event logistics for successful execution.
• Marketing & Promotion: Plan and execute sales-focused marketing events, such as open houses and wedding fairs, and capture content to support social media and broader marketing efforts.
• Partnership & Quality Assurance: Coordinate effectively with Hightop Hospitality catering teams, external vendors, and internal partners to ensure seamless events, upholding brand standards, service quality, and operational consistency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experience in venue sales, event sales, or venue/event management.
• Experience: Demonstrated success in booking and executing events, showcasing a track record of meeting or exceeding objectives.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail to accurately manage contracts, timelines, layouts, and all critical event details.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with demonstrated problem-solving skills, capable of navigating last-minute changes professionally.
• Exceptional organizational skills, enabling the effective management of multiple events and client relationships simultaneously.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
