Venture Capital Intern | Wall Street Oasis
The Tone:
This is an off-cycle virtual internship at Wall Street Oasis, located remotely. Wall Street Oasis operates the largest career community focused on finance careers, serving over 1 million registered members and attracting 20 million annual visits. This role provides highly selective top students with hands-on experience and venture-style research skills, directly enhancing their qualifications for competitive recruiting. Strong interns will also have their profiles shared with a network of partner organizations including micro-VC funds, venture studios, and angel syndicates.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Train: Complete two weeks of structured training to build core skills in venture investing, including fund structures, deal instruments, cap table modeling, and diligence fundamentals.
• Source: Support deal flow and sourcing efforts for micro-VC funds, venture studios, accelerators, and angel syndicates.
• Research: Conduct market mapping, thesis research, and competitive landscape analysis for partner organizations.
• Evaluate: Perform startup evaluations and prepare deal memos based on diligence findings.
• Diligence: Provide diligence support and prepare investment committee-prep style briefs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student (freshmen/sophomores not limited) exploring venture capital, startups, growth equity, or investing.
• Experience: No prior venture capital experience is required; performance in assessments and training is the primary factor.
• Skills: Strong research skills, analytical thinking, clear writing ability, and capacity to work independently.
• Bonus: Highly motivated individuals and quick learners.
