Venture Capital Intern | Wall Street Oasis
The Tone:
This is a virtual internship at Wall Street Oasis, located remotely. Wall Street Oasis is the largest career community focused on careers in finance, serving over 1 million registered members and attracting 20 million annual visits annually. This highly selective internship is designed to help top students gain hands-on experience, build a stronger VC resume, and develop real venture-style research skills through structured training and focused work. Strong interns will have their profiles shared with a network of partner organizations, including micro-VC funds, venture studios, and angel syndicates.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Complete structured training to build core venture investing skills, including fund structures, deal mechanics, and diligence fundamentals.
• Support deal flow and sourcing efforts for partner micro-VC funds, venture studios, and angel syndicates.
• Conduct market mapping, thesis research, and competitive landscape analysis for emerging companies.
• Evaluate startups, prepare investment memos, and develop diligence support briefs for internal committees.
• Pass training assessments to advance through the program and qualify for placement opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates exploring venture capital, startups, growth equity, or investing.
• Experience: No prior VC experience is required; performance in assessments and structured training matters most.
• Skills: Strong research abilities, analytical thinking, clear writing, and the capacity to learn quickly and work independently.
• Bonus: Highly motivated students are preferred, with the program open to all student levels, including freshmen and sophomores.
