The Tone:
This is a hybrid role at SitusAMC, requiring in-office presence two days per week. SitusAMC is an organization dedicated to transforming client businesses and careers within the real estate industry, working to realize opportunities for everyone they serve. This position is an integral part of the Valuation Advisory & Risk Solutions (VARS) department, providing essential valuation services to a diverse client base including investment managers, depository institutions, and lenders. The role focuses on valuing residential and consumer whole loans, structured finance securities, and other fixed income assets, while developing expertise in valuation fundamentals and diverse asset classes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Produce Valuation Analyses: Work with colleagues to create valuation analyses for clients with a high degree of competency, integrity, and customer service.
• Maintain Models and Data: Assist in the upkeep of valuation models and data sets as required.
• Execute Operational Tasks: Perform various operational duties, including maintaining research documents, tracking team workflow, managing client communications, and supporting technology-related project management initiatives.
• Manage Independent Projects: Take ownership and successfully execute specific projects independently.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, suitable for an entry-level position with foundational knowledge in valuations, investments, or related financial topics.
• Experience: Zero to three years of relevant experience in valuations, investments, or other related roles, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, a basic understanding of relevant financial and fixed-income topics, and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Bonus: Coursework or industry experience in data analysis or programming languages is preferred.
