Job Description
About Causally
Causally is an AI-native studio exploring what happens when you rebuild organizations, products, and workflows from the premise that cognition is now scalable. We’re a small, high-leverage team where every member orchestrates AI to systematically enter vertical markets, reshape how people access information, and redefine how work gets delivered. Backed by top US investors and internet industry veterans, we ship AI-native products for international markets at 100x the velocity of traditional orgs.
About This Role
We’re looking for a UX & Media Intern who lives at the intersection of design, storytelling, and technology. You’ll be the voice and visual identity behind Causally’s products and brand — owning everything from product UX to marketing pages to social content. This isn’t a “make it pretty” role; you’ll shape how users discover, understand, and fall in love with AI-native products.
What You’ll Do
- Design product UX flows and interfaces for AI-native applications — from information architecture to pixel-level polish.
- Build and maintain Causally’s brand identity, visual system, and content across channels.
- Create marketing assets: landing pages, H5 pages, social media content, product demos, and campaign visuals.
- Use AI tools (Claude code, SD, Midjourney, Seedance, ChatGPT, etc.) as creative co-pilots to accelerate ideation and production.
- Design and execute growth experiments — viral loops, referral mechanics, SEO/GEO, content marketing, and paid acquisition.
- Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with everyday users.
- Ship real pages using Webflow, Figma-to-code, or basic frontend tools — not just static mockups.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Visual Communication, Interaction Design, Digital Media, UX, Journalism, New Media, or related fields.
- Strong aesthetic sense and intuition for what makes content click-worthy, shareable, and memorable.
- Proficient in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and able to build live pages (Webflow, basic HTML/CSS, or similar).
- Active user of AI creative tools — you already use AI for copywriting, image generation, video, or code.
- Interest in growth and data — you’re curious about why things go viral and willing to run experiments with real metrics.
- Portfolio of shipped work: websites, campaigns, social accounts, H5 pages, or brand projects you’ve built from scratch.
- Bonus: experience running social media accounts (X, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, TikTok) or leading a product cold-start.
Internship Details
- Location: Cambridge, MA and/or Guangzhou, China (hybrid/remote options available).
- Part-time internship available year-round (unpaid, flexible hours).
- Full-time paid summer internship available (May–August).
- OPT/CPT support available for international students.
- Opportunity to convert to a full-time role based on performance.
