The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Full-time
• Pay: $20.00 Hourly
• Team: Independent field work
• Mission: Protect partners’ infrastructure and critical assets by accurately locating underground utilities.
• Tech Stack: Company laptop, phone, best-in-class ticket and claims management systems.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Locate: Safely and efficiently identify and pinpoint the exact locations of various underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric, gas, water, and sewer lines.
• Mark: Conduct thorough searches within designated work areas and accurately mark the precise location of identified utilities on site.
• Document: Complete all required documentation for each locate ticket, ensuring clarity and completeness for excavators or property owners.
• Record: Photograph each completed locate as part of the necessary documentation process.
• Schedule: Meet critical 48-hour turnaround times for locates, which involves working overtime, after holidays, and during weekend and on-call shifts as business needs dictate.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A quality-conscious, safety-focused, and hard-working individual who thrives in independent field work and takes pride in public safety. No prior locating experience is required.
• Experience: Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
• Skills:
* Computer proficiency for utilizing company systems and tools.
* Ability to accurately distinguish between colors for utility identification and marking.
* Capability to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps, and prints effectively.
* Strong communication skills to interact clearly with colleagues, customers, and contractors.
* Willingness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Bonus: Previous experience working outdoors; availability for overtime, weekend, and on-call shifts.
