US Farm Animal Sales Intern Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• As a Farm Animal Sales Intern, you will be part of a Farm Animal Commercial team (Beef, Dairy, Swine, Poultry, Channel, Retail, or Marketing).
• You will work on a highly impactful business project to help elevate the US Farm Animal Commercial organization.
• You will define, execute, and deliver on the outlined project within your assigned territory.
• You will track and present results to relevant Farm Animal Leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Currently enrolled in undergrad studies in Animal Science, Agribusiness, Agriculture Education (or related studies).
• Experience: Experience with farm animal health or livestock or agriculture industry.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent phone, speaking, and presentation skills.
• Attributes: Highly motivated, driven leaders proven to be self-motivated with a high level of responsibility and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Passion and interest for agriculture.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to make decisions within the context of uncertainty and ambiguity.
• Customer-focused mindset.
Additional Information:
• Location: Field-Based – Various locations throughout the United States.
• Internship Dates: May 19th – August 8th (12 Weeks)
• Compensation: Competitive salary: $20-$40/hour (dependent upon major and year in school).
• Benefits: Networking events, assigned mentors, professional development opportunities, optional all-inclusive housing for $150 per week or a $4000 housing stipend (ONLY for Sales and Kansas City/Elwood interns), full-time roles or additional internships for interns with outstanding performance.
