Description: Undergraduate Research & Development Internship

This internship offers students the chance to contribute to significant strategic and/or operating projects within the company. Interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and the business’s current needs.

Responsibilities may include:

• Partnering with leadership to identify areas for efficiency improvement and benchmarking against industry best practices.
• Becoming a process owner, critically reviewing processes, and recommending improvements.
• Learning continuous improvement methodologies (PPI, Six Sigma, etc.) and promoting improvement initiatives.
• Adhering to company safety, training, and quality regulations (ISO compliance, GLP/GMP requirements).
• Executing experimental plans, analyzing data, and contributing to technical reports and product summaries.
• Investigating new methods/technologies and maintaining accurate lab notebooks to protect intellectual property.
• Collaborating with various functions (Business Development, Quality, Operations, Technical Services, Marketing) in new product commercialization.

Currently pursuings:

• Undergraduate student pursuing an Engineering or Life Sciences-related degree, graduating between December 2025 and June 2026.
• 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships are preferred.
• Consistent record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
• Ability to champion change, achieve results, and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. (F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, and CPT visas are not accepted for this internship.)

Start Date & Duration: May 12th or June 16th, 2025, for 10-12 weeks.

Compensation: hourly rate between $21.50 – $28.75 (dependent on location and cost of living). A $5,000 relocation stipend is offered if the student lives 50+ miles from the internship location. In California, the estimated hourly pay range is $21.00–$24.00. A variable annual bonus may also be available.
