Their mission is to “enable a future where millions of people are living and working in space.” They are actively developing and operating a wide range of technologies and services, including reusable launch vehicles, spacecraft, and orbital space stations.
Job Description
Blue Origin is seeking undergraduate interns for their Summer 2025 internship cohort. The internship program is 12 weeks long and offers interns the opportunity to gain valuable experience in their chosen field while working on real-world projects alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Interns will utilize their academic, project, and degree program foundations to perform professional-level work in support of the functional area assigned.
• Specific responsibilities will vary depending on the assigned area, but may include:
• Research and analysis
• Design and development
• Testing and evaluation
• Project management
• Data analysis
• Communication and presentation
Qualifications:
• Required:
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
• Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application (obtained sophomore standing).
• Available to work full time for a minimum of 12 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for space.
• Desired:
• Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills relevant to the internship as well as leadership qualities.
• Hands-on project experience.
• Co-curricular engagement.
Compensation:
• The compensation for on-site WA, CO, and CA applicants is between $19.54 and $28.67 hourly.
