Treasury Technical Consultant | Bank of America

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Onboarding: Support Treasury Sales Officers and Implementation Advisors with the onboarding of new Large Corporate and Commercial clients for complex Treasury Services products within the US and Canada.
• Technical Consultation: Consult with clients to explain available payments, receipts, and reporting services, and gather their specific technical requirements for implementation.
• Primary Technical Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients for all technical aspects associated with the implementation of Treasury Services.
• Client Advocacy: Act as the client advocate to internal product teams, ensuring their technical needs and requirements are accurately communicated.
• Technical Validation: Read, understand, explain, and visually inspect data files against specification documents to ensure accurate formatting and successful technical integration.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A broad and in-depth knowledge of various Treasury Payments, Receipts, and Information Reporting products, coupled with an understanding of data transmission protocols.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably involving the technical aspects of financial product implementation.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of data transmission protocols and connectivity, including HTTPS, FTP/SSL, SFTP, AS2, and SWIFT.
• Familiarity with industry-standard file formats such as NACHA, EDI, and XML.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively work with clients and internal partners to deliver clear requirements.
• The ability to read, understand, and explain file specification and requirement documents accurately.
• Bonus: Prior client implementation experience with Treasury Products, experience managing technology projects at Bank of America, or a background as a software developer, business analyst, or product manager. A 4-year degree is desired.
