Travel Community Director | Home Again Assisted Living Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Home Again Assisted Living Inc., requiring extensive travel between our communities located throughout the Greater Madison area. Home Again Assisted Living provides compassionate care and a welcoming social environment, striving to create a true “at home” experience for our residents. This role is crucial for maintaining operational excellence and consistency across multiple locations, directly supporting community directors and ensuring high standards of resident satisfaction, team engagement, and compliance. The Travel Community Director plays a vital part in upholding Home Again’s mission and strategic goals during management absences, new community startups, acquisitions, or special projects.

• Location: In-person, Greater Madison Area (Waunakee, Columbus, Cambridge)

• Team: Supports directors of Home Again Assisted Living communities; reports to the Director of Operations.
• Mission: To provide consistent supervision and management support on a temporary, extended, or as-needed basis across multiple communities, ensuring operational alignment with the company’s mission and strategic goals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Direct: Oversee the daily operations of assigned Home Again communities.
• Manage: Orient, supervise, evaluate, review, and appropriately discipline all community staff.
• Liaise: Serve as the primary point of contact for families, residents, and regulatory agencies.
• Strategize: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance occupancy, resident satisfaction, and overall community success.
• Comply: Ensure adherence to company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field; prior director-level leadership experience in assisted living, senior living, or long-term care.
• Experience: Proven ability to support operational needs across multiple communities, including regular travel; experience in managing management absences, startups, acquisitions, and special projects.
• Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; strong critical thinking, team building capabilities, and CBRF Certifications.
• Bonus: Flexibility to assist with all aspects of daily operations, including working as a Resident Assistant to provide direct resident care when needed.
