This Track & Trace Representative role is critical, acting as the primary point of contact for shipment progress, ensuring drivers adhere to schedules, providing customers with proactive updates, and resolving potential issues swiftly. • Tech Stack: Proprietary transportation management system, multiple tracking platforms
What You’ll Actually Do
• Monitor: Track shipments from pickup through delivery, utilizing multiple tracking platforms to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Communicate: Make a minimum of 100 proactive outbound calls daily to drivers and communicate shipment updates, delays, and exceptions to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate: Partner with Sales and Dispatch teams to effectively resolve issues quickly and keep freight moving efficiently.
• Document: Enter new load information into the proprietary transportation management system and maintain accurate shipment documentation and paperwork.
• Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by keeping customers informed and ensuring their freight reaches its destination without complications.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational understanding of logistics, transportation, or customer service principles.
• Experience: Comfort working with multiple computer systems simultaneously.
• Skills: Strong communication, customer service, attention to detail, organizational abilities, ability to multitask, problem-solving, and dependability.
• Bonus: Previous logistics, transportation, customer service, or call center experience.
