Workforce Development Specialist, TPG Onboarding | Micron Technology

What You’ll Actually Do
• Facilitate: Support the delivery of onboarding programs and learning experiences, including orientations, workshops, cohorts, and Fab Bootcamp, through both in-person and virtual formats.
• Administer: Assist with onboarding logistics, such as tracking headcount, preparing welcome communications, coordinating cohort planning, managing training enrollment, and facilitating mentor/buddy assignments.
• Collaborate: Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to help develop onboarding plans that align with specific roles, functions, and business requirements.
• Develop: Contribute to the creation and upkeep of onboarding programs, training materials, and learning resources designed to help new hires integrate and build necessary skills.
• Analyze: Utilize data and reports to monitor the effectiveness of onboarding, identify areas for improvement, and support continuous enhancements to programs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Equivalent experience or a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, instructional development, human resources, business management, or related fields.
• Experience: Relevant project, internship, or academic experience supporting onboarding, training, or structured learning programs.
• Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal), proficient in Microsoft Office, analytical and diligent with good critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration, self-motivated and proactive.
• Bonus: Exposure to or interest in project management and continuous improvement, the ability to learn and understand technical concepts, and an interest in GenAI or automation tools for efficiency.
