Tolling Operations Specialist | PrePass

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at PrePass, and can be fully remote or hybrid for candidates located within the Phoenix metropolitan area, Arizona, United States. PrePass develops North America’s most trusted weigh station bypass and toll management platform, creating solutions that keep commercial vehicles moving safely, efficiently, and compliantly. This role is crucial for supporting tolling program oversight, ensuring seamless toll management, and contributing to the broader economy.

• Team: Reports to the Tolling Operations Analyst
• Mission: Supports tolling program oversight by identifying and resolving operational issues to ensure seamless toll management.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Filters, Power BI, SQL, data architecture, Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Dataflows

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Development: Develop and maintain scalable workflows and standard operating procedures to improve process automation and efficiency.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor daily operational activities for anomalies and accurately process repetitive, routine tolling-related work.
• Data Analysis: Perform thorough analysis of large datasets, document findings, track performance metrics, and provide insights for business decisions.
• Issue Resolution: Act as a subject matter expert to troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate their timely resolution with internal and external partners.
• Training & Implementation: Create and deliver training materials for applications and workflows, supporting the design and promotion of new operational procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered. Core domain knowledge in supporting operational processes.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and Filters; Experience viewing, developing, and publishing Power BI reporting; Basic proficiency in SQL, data architecture, Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Dataflows.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving and investigative skills with exceptional attention to detail; Analytical, organizational, and time management skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Bonus: Experience within the Commercial Vehicle Transportation industry; Experience within the Tolling industry.
