This role is crucial for providing essential clerical and administrative support, ensuring the Catering Sales Department operates efficiently and maintains strong client relationships. • Team: Supports the Catering Sales Department, assisting management staff.
• Mission: Provides essential clerical functions and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Catering Sales Department.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Communications: Answer telephones and emails, directing inquiries in a professional, client-focused manner.
• Support Department Operations: Create and distribute BEOs, assist in preparing for Operations meetings, and review BEOs for accurate financials.
• Maintain Confidential Records: Securely handle confidential personnel and client files, assisting management with sensitive documentation.
• Oversee Event Logistics: Manage orders, inventory, and hourly union staff during events, and create custom signage as needed.
• Generate Financial Reports: Prepare accurate end-of-month financial reports for colleagues and partners.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Successful candidates will have a background in clerical functions and administrative support, ideally within a sales or event environment, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Demonstrated ability to work regular daytime weekday hours, with flexibility for nights and weekends as required for event support.
• Skills: Professional communication, strong organizational abilities to meet deadlines and maintain tidiness, adaptability in evolving environments, attention to detail for financial accuracy, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Bonus: Experience with Canva and Cricut, a willingness to learn new event and creative software systems, and embodying a Nice, Passionate, and Professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues, clients, and partners.
