Job Description (Detailed)

This is an opportunity for a Ticket Sales and Fan Relations Intern with the Boston Bruins, a team owned and operated by Delaware North.

Role & Duration:
• This is a paid internship program that can also be completed for academic credit.
• The role begins in late August 2025 and concludes in April 2026, upon the completion of the regular NHL season, with potential extension for playoff games.
• The internship is designed to provide an “incredible” and “fun and inclusive” experience for emerging talent, focusing on career and leadership development while impacting the business.
• Interns participate in the Delaware North Intern Experience, which includes opportunities for hybrid and in-person work, executive and peer mentoring and coaching, and on-the-job learning.

Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: $15.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
The intern will work alongside Fan Relations and Sales teams, fulfilling a variety of duties:
Game Day Support: Arrive 5 hours prior to puck drop and stay 2 hours after, assisting with various game day operations and fan experiences.
Future Bruins Program: Help coordinate youth hockey games on the TD Garden ice prior to Bruins games, creating memorable experiences for young players and their families.
Three Minutes of Fame Program: Assist with the logistics and execution of this program, which allows youth hockey teams to skate on the Bruins ice for three minutes during intermission.
Office Support: Maintain weekly/bi-weekly office hours to assist the Fan Relations and Sales teams with various administrative tasks and projects as needed.
Season Ticket Holder Events: Provide assistance at 12 Season Ticket Holder events throughout the season, helping to create engaging experiences for loyal fans.
Family Shows: Coordinate and execute fan experience packages for various annual family shows held at TD Garden, such as Disney On Ice, Harlem Globetrotters, the Beanpot Tournament, and the Hockey East Championship.

Requirements & Qualifications:
Availability: Must be available to intern for all 44 home games of the Boston Bruins, which requires significant night and weekend availability.
Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in a related field or a recent college graduate.
Physical: Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and perform some manual labor as an essential function of the position.
