What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Objective Contribution: Contribute to overarching sales objectives by actively supporting teams in meeting or exceeding distribution and promotion goals for PMI U.S. products.
• New Business Identification: Proactively identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the assigned territory to expand market reach.
• Partnership Development: Develop and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with key decision makers across retail, wholesale, and account levels in the assigned geography.
• Product Merchandising: Merchandise PMI US’s products effectively in retail stores to achieve maximum consumer reach, including gaining new item distribution and ensuring proper product rotation for freshness.
• Concept and Program Selling: Effectively sell new concepts, programs, and products to assigned customers, utilizing data to develop fact-based presentations.
• Administrative Management: Manage and execute all administrative aspects of the job, including timely expense reporting and point-of-sale material deployment, with consistency and accuracy.
• Tool Utilization: Understand and effectively use essential tools and resources available for the role, such as Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
The Must-Haves:
• Background: Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program, preferably pursuing a Business-related major, during the 2025-2026 school year, with the intent to return to the program after the internship. This is an early career role.
• Experience: Demonstrated self-motivation to achieve personal bests and a commitment to exceptional performance. Must possess reliable transportation and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively sell concepts and maintain partnerships. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop creative solutions in selling situations. Analytical and planning skills to interpret data, develop sales plans, and prioritize activities to achieve results. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and business math skills.
