What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Support: Contribute significantly to sales objectives by supporting teams in meeting or exceeding distribution and promotion goals within the respectively assigned geography.
• New Business: Proactively identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, effectively selling concepts, programs, and products to assigned customers within the retail environment.
• Partnership Development: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with retail, wholesale, and account key decision-makers in the territory, leveraging available data to develop fact-based presentations for customers.
• Merchandising Excellence: Merchandise PMI US’s products in stores for maximum consumer reach, which includes gaining new item distribution, executing promotions, and ensuring accurate product rotation for freshness on all products in all assigned stores.
• Administrative Oversight: Manage administrative tasks on-time with consistency and accuracy, ensuring all administrative aspects of the job, including expenses and point of sale materials, are executed based on company standards and supporting established call frequencies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program during the 2025-2026 school year, returning to the program after the completion of the internship, preferably pursuing a Business-related major.
• Experience: The candidate must have reliable transportation.
• Skills: Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), problem-solving and ability to develop creative solutions, critical thinking demonstrating the ability to think and act in selling situations, analytical skills to analyze data and develop a sales plan, planning skills demonstrating the ability to prioritize activities to achieve results, Microsoft Office proficiency, and business math skills.
