Technology Product Management Lead Analyst – Vice President | Citigroup Inc.

The Tone:

The Enterprise Operations & Technology teams are tasked with creating technology solutions that are fundamental to Citi’s operations, ensuring safety, managing global resources, providing essential tools, designing digital architecture, and delivering a first-class customer experience. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering secure, reliable, and efficient platform products that reimagine client and partner experiences, driving economic value and progress for the institution.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Product Strategy & Documentation: Spearhead the creation of “working backwards” documents for platform product releases, defining the strategic vision and underlying customer needs.
• Drive Innovation & Research: Identify and lead “test and learn” experiments to create platform products that increase customer value, utilizing research, studies, and focus groups to identify best-of-breed solutions.
• Define & Measure Product Success: Establish, define, and continuously measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for platform products, making critical trade-off decisions across multiple products within a portfolio.
• Develop Product Requirements: Formulate comprehensive business and platform requirements for either a specific component of a large platform product or for a narrow product, leveraging AI tools for documentation and impact analysis.
• Ensure Risk & Compliance: Appropriately assess and manage risks when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, policies, and ethical judgment, escalating and reporting control issues with transparency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s/University degree in Computer Applications, with relevant experience in a product line management, e-commerce, and/or strategic planning role within the Deposits and Payments domain in the Financial Industry.
• Experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience, including significant expertise in building complex business and/or transactional models.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong leadership, clear and compelling communication, effective influence across cross-functional teams, the ability to prioritize well, and experience using AI tools for requirements and solutioning.
• Bonus: Master’s degree preferred.
