Position Summary

As a Technician in Facility Services, Power Washing Exterior Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our retail locations. This position demands a hands-on approach, involving the operation and maintenance of pressure washing equipment to clean various surfaces, including walls, sidewalks, roofs, parking lots, and more.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Operate and maintain corporate vehicles, pressure washers, pumps, hoses, nozzles, and other equipment.
• Evaluate areas to be cleaned and determine suitable pressure levels and temperature settings for effective cleaning.
• Remove dirt, debris, trash, and other contaminants from surfaces while strictly adhering to safety procedures.
• Respond to work order requests efficiently and maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation of all tasks performed.
• Conduct regular safety and preventative maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
• Perform other facility-related maintenance duties as assigned to support overall operational needs.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Hold a valid, state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• Ability to work alternative shifts, including overnight and weekends, to meet operational demands.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in the power washing/exterior maintenance industry.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in speaking and understanding Spanish.
• Possession of state/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California).

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Certifications

• Relevant certifications in power washing or facility maintenance are preferred, but not required.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 – $35.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
