Position: Technician, Facility Services – Power Washing Exterior Services

Position Summary

As a Technician in Facility Services, Power Washing Exterior Services at Walmart, you will be crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our retail locations. This hands-on role involves operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment to clean various exterior surfaces, ensuring an exceptional environment for our customers.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Operate and maintain corporate vehicles, pressure washers, pumps, hoses, nozzles, and other equipment efficiently and safely.
• Evaluate areas to be cleaned and determine suitable pressure levels and temperature settings for optimal results.
• Remove dirt, debris, trash, and other contaminants from surfaces, strictly adhering to all safety procedures.
• Respond promptly to work order requests and maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation of all tasks performed.
• Conduct regular safety and preventative maintenance checks on equipment to ensure longevity and operational efficiency.
• Perform other facility-related maintenance duties as assigned, contributing to the overall upkeep of the premises.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the power washing/exterior maintenance industry.
• Driver’s License: Valid, state-issued driver’s license held for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• Availability: Ability to work alternative shifts, including overnight and weekends.
• Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Work Style: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Power washing/exterior maintenance industry experience beyond the minimum.
• Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish.
• State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California).
• Relevant certifications in power washing or facility maintenance are preferred, but not required.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 – $35.00*.

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
