Product Deployment Engineer, gTech Ads LCS | Google

The Tone:

As a Product Deployment Engineer, gTech Ads LCS, you will serve as a trusted advisor, supporting customers globally by delivering solutions rooted in your technical skill and deep product expertise. This role is essential for ensuring that Google’s online advertising platforms and product partnerships realize their full potential, addressing complex needs with both bespoke solutions and scalable tools.

• Mission: Oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google’s online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in customer or partner organizations to deliver and manage quality technical solutions and services.
• Product Verification: Verify the functionality of developer product features and provide meaningful feedback to product and engineering teams, leading to improvements in the developer experience.
• Documentation & Strategy: Create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to record product specifications and validate them to ensure customer, partner, and internal needs are met with limited guidance.
• Solution Scaling: Scale existing or create repeatable solutions, such as best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code, ensuring effective documentation with minimal guidance.
• Code Collaboration: Write solution code in collaboration with internal or external developers, users, partners, clients, and other stakeholders as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. This foundational knowledge supports the troubleshooting of technical issues for various internal and external partners or customers.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues for internal or external partners or customers, demonstrating a strong problem-solving capability.
• Skills: Proven experience in either system design, understanding how technical components interact, or proficiency in reading code in languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Bonus: A Master’s degree in relevant fields like Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Applied Science; 5 years of experience managing projects and engaging with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies; 5 years of experience with data analysis, including expertise in SQL/MySQL; 5 years of experience in a direct customer-facing role; 5 years of experience working proficiently with Unix or Linux operating systems and commands; and 5 years of experience in operations management, encompassing process improvement, operational reviews, and optimizing workflows.
