Technical Project Management Internship:
This internship program, formerly known as the R&D Summer Co-op Program, is a paid, full-time opportunity lasting 12 weeks (June – early September 2025). It’s designed to equip students with valuable work experience in Technical Project Management within Starbucks Retail Engineering.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in technical project management: Leverage core project management skills while navigating challenges and constraints.
• Track technical development progress: Ensure project readiness for gate reviews within Engineering.
• Manage relationships with equipment suppliers: Integrate technical development phases into the overall project timeline.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Deliver project milestones and bring products (equipment, processes, packaging) to market.
• Support non-project tasks: Improve efficiency within the Technical PMO.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Strong interest in project management: Deep understanding of scope, time, costs, and risks.
• Engineering background: Majoring in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Packaging, or Materials Engineering.
• Growth mindset: Demonstrates technical curiosity and a drive to learn.
• Excellent communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaboration skills: Ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage ambiguity.
• Action-oriented: Proactive and focused on getting things done.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to work full-time from June – early September 2025.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
