Job Description: Technical Internship

Position Summary

Plug Power is seeking highly motivated interns for its engineering and technical project teams for the Summer 2025 program. As an intern, you will assist teams in a wide variety of initiatives and projects, gaining exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment. You will develop a detailed understanding of Plug Power’s products and work on projects involving technical tasks, process improvement, documentation, and presentation of results.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Plug Power products.
• Work alongside senior-level engineers and management to interpret and analyze data.
• Assist in developing engineering processes under the guidance of experienced professionals.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform minor repairs as needed.
• Independently set up experiments and monitor their progress.
• Apply engineering concepts to daily projects.
• Critically analyze data related to system performance and reliability.
• Represent Plug Power professionally in all interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Software Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Prior internship or co-op experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to the office is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Background/experience with statistical analysis is beneficial.
• Strong hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in computer and software systems, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
• Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent follow-through skills.
• Driven and self-motivated.
• Commitment to ethical standards and high-quality work.

Estimated Base Salary Range:

• $21.00 – $25.00
